Privacy policy

What we collect

• Information you submit on our "check your rate" / application form (email, phone, requested loan amount, loan purpose).
• Basic server logs from your requests (IP address, user agent, timestamp, requested URL).
• Information about whether your request came from a known search or AI crawler (used only for site analytics).

We do not use cross-site tracking cookies. We do not sell or rent your browsing data.

How we use it

The information you submit on the rate form is forwarded to our lending-marketplace partner and/or directly to lender partners so that they can contact you with rate quotes. We retain a copy for our own records and for fraud prevention.

Server logs are used to operate the site, detect abuse, and produce aggregate analytics. We do not use them to build advertising profiles.

Who we share it with

• Our lending-marketplace partner and/or direct lender partners, when you submit the rate form.
• Service providers strictly necessary to run the site (hosting, transactional email).
• Law enforcement when required by valid legal process.

Your choices

To request a copy of the data we hold about you, or to request deletion, email privacy@tryoption.ai from the address you used on the form. We respond within 30 days.

Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah may have additional rights under state privacy law (CCPA / CPRA / VCDPA / CPA / CTDPA / UCPA). We honor those rights through the same email channel.

Children

Specialized financing for auto repair shop equipment and tools is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
